The construction of rescue camp nearby Carson Church on Ralmung playground has not yet finished, which has been started from second week of August 2015 for natural disaster victims in Hakha. “We had finished 50% on the construction and now we are working for toilets, dining rooms, water pipe and electricity fitting. It is hard to say when it will be finished all,” said one of the construction leaders.
There will be 40 camps with 320 rooms on the playground, which will replace for rescue camps in High School no. 2, Carson Church, Bethel camp at the block in Hakha downtown. Currently there are 1000 families at 7 rescue camps in Hakha.
“This construction camp cannot accommodate for 1000 families. The main problem will be water in winter,” said an elder person in new block.
