A drone army under the People’s Defence Force (PDF) and other resistance forces attacked the regime’s Kale Regional Operations Command and other military camps in Kale town.
The Wings of Kale Drone Team used fixed-wing drones to drop nine bombs on May 6: two bombs on the command centre, four struck the airport as a junta transport aircraft was landing, and nine bombs on the No-644 weapon storage unit.
The regime sent the Y-8 aircraft to replenish its troops in the town with food and weapons on May 6 and two days earlier.
The drone team, which operates under the Kale District and Kalewa PDFs, Kale Revolution Force, and Urban Guerrilla, was able to retreat after the attack without any casualties.
One of their drones was lost during the operation.
It is unknown if junta soldiers in Kale were injured or killed.
The drone army attacked a junta camp in Kyan Tha in southern Kale Township on May 2.
The same day, they also dropped four bombs on a column of soldiers traveling from the village to Aung Mingalar.
The regime has tightened security in Kale town while resistance fighters are facing off with the Burma army in the south and north of the township in Sagaing Region.
