Burma Army commander-in-chief Snr-Gen Min Aung Hlaing was awarded the Chin Hero Award by the Tedim-based Zomi Organization this week. The honor, also known as the Gal Hang Pah Tawi Na Award, was given to the senior general on Tuesday in Bayinnaung Hall in Naypyidaw by a delegation from the organization. The Chin Woman Organization Network (CWON) has said that they will not agree to the Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Act, which was amended in September. The CWON’s 2nd Conference was held at Carson Call in the Chin State capital of Hakha from November 28-30.
