The Burma Army (BA) shelled a house where people live and run a restaurant in Kalay town on Tuesday. The house owner and her daughter were slightly injured and the first floor and roof damaged in the shelling, which occurred at 10:30 pm. The Network for Chin Community Development (NCCD) adopted a draft Chin land policy during a major conference attended by 26 Chin civil society organisations campaigning against the loss of land by the Burma Army.
