The Chinland Defense Force (CDF) has deployed drones to attack regime officials stationed atop a strategic hill near Hakha as part of an offensive to seize the Chin State capital from the military regime.
Resistance fighters from Hakha, Thangtlang, Zophei, and Lautu deployed three drones to attack the Rung mountain camp on the afternoon of April 15.
The Hakha CDF stated that there were casualties but did not provide further details about the attack at this time.
An anonymous source reported that a convoy carrying prominent ministers for Chin State came under attack in Hakha on April 12, resulting in at least six injuries, including the head of the social ministry and his wife, as well as the economic minister.
Following the ambush, the injured were treated at the hospital before everyone was relocated to the mountain camp for their safety.
The CDF emphasized the importance of capturing the regime’s position on Rung Mountain and called for support from Chins inside Burma and abroad.
