    Chin and Mizo’s singers to perform in USA

    Two Chin singers and a Mizo singer will perform in a conference of the Chin Youth Organization (CYO) in America next month.

    Salai Cung Lian Thawng (Thawngbawih), Van Dawt Cin (Moe Moe) from Chin state and Mami Varte from Mizoram will participate in the CYO’s conference in Indianapolis Town of Indiana state of the United State between 4 and 6 July 2013.

    The gospel concert programmes will be conducted in Washington DC on 29 June and Indianapolis on 30 June 2013 respectively by Salai Cung Lian Thawng. He will join CYO’s conference after his concert programmes.

    “I am going to leaving for Rangoon international airport around 10:45 am on Thursday. I would like to request you to pray for me” said Salai Cung Lian Thawng.

    The visas of Mai Van Dawt Cin for Chin state and Mami Varte from Mizoram are done.

    A report said that the two Chin singers are popular among Chin people living outside and inside Myanmar. At the same time, Mai Van Dawt Cin is popular among Myanmar’s singers.

    “All of us are waiting for the singers. ” said a youth from US.
