Since the coup, these individuals in Paletwa Township have received limited aid, primarily from the World Food Programme and other organizations.
The Garuna Social Volunteer Team is currently providing nutritional supplements for the children until the end of October.

Thousands have resided in Si Pin, Myo Pai Kon, Htwe Ouk, and Pyan Kya Zay camps for nearly four years after fleeing the conflict between the Burma army and Arakan Army.
Prior to the military’s takeover on February 1, 2021, the fighting had ceased due to an informal ceasefire negotiated by the armed groups.
However, in March, the regime forced 1,504 of the 3,000 camp residents to return to their villages.
