The regime attacked the Chin National Front (CNF) headquarters in Camp Victoria for a second time. This time, two jet fighters bombed the CNF’s strategic hill, a clinic and a medical supply shop twice at 5 pm on Wednesday.

A source close to the Chin group, whose armed wing, the Chin National Army (CNA), is resisting the military dictatorship, said the clinic and store were completely destroyed. Fortunately, no one was killed or injured in the second air strike.

Five CNA soldiers, including two women, were killed when jet fighters dropped five shells on the camp in Thangtlang township near the Indian border at 4.30am on Tuesday, with one shell landing in the Indian state of Mizoram.

The soldiers killed in the first attack are Salai Van Ro Pyan, Salai Duh Tin, Salai Kil Mang, Mai Ngun Hlei Par and Mai Sui Len Par.

CNA has been fighting against the regime’s troops along with other Chin resistance groups a few months after the military coup almost two years ago.
