Fighter jets attacked the Chin National Front (CNF) headquarters in Chin State on Tuesday.

This escalated the war against the organisation, whose armed wing, the Chin National Army (CNA), has been fighting the regime’s troops a few months after the military coup almost two years ago.

At around 4 pm on Tuesday, several jet fighters attacked Camp Victoria in Thangtlang Township near the Indian border at least five times, killing five soldiers, including two women.

The deceased soldiers are Salai Van Ro Pyan, Salai Duh Tin, Salai Kil Mang, Mai Ngun Hlei Par and Mai Sui Len Par.

CNF reported that one regime-fired shell landed in India’s Mizoram State.
