A VCD commemorating the 10th death anniversary of a Chin National Front member who joined the CNF in 1988, comprising songs will be released on the 64th Chin National Day by his relatives.
The remembrance album on Corporal Se Se will also be broadcast live from NSV Studio on 20 February in Saiha town, Mizoram state of northeast India.
The 88 students uprising happened when Se Se was attending Mandalay University and was in the second year. He joined the CNF and took military training as a Chin National Army member in Kachin state, where the Kachin Independent Army (KIA) is based.
The cassette “Never forgot him” comprises 11 remembrance songs and is sung by four Chin singers and has been recorded in Ocean Recording and Sound studio,” said a relative.
“We are not focusing only on my brother Se Se’s remembrance but also all CNF members who have become martyrs for our nation and our people. It is our parent’s desire. I want to thank those who have helped compile and complete this cassette,” said Mr. C. Vakhaitha, a younger brother of Se Se.
Corporal Se Se passed away on 6 October 2002 in New Delhi, the capital of India. Khonumthung news
