The Chinland University of Medicine, established by the Chinland Council–run Government of Chinland during the revolution, has been successfully inaugurated, with representatives of the resistance-led National Unity Government (NUG) attending the ceremony, according to a Chinland Council statement on April 15.

The inauguration ceremony of the Chinland Jordan School of Medicine, established by the Ministry of Health and Sports of the Government of Chinland at an undisclosed location in Chin State, was attended by the Chinland Council, the Government of Chinland, Chin MPs, ministers, the Auditor General, Dr Zaw Wai Soe, the Union Minister for the Prime Minister’s Office of the NUG, and other NUG members, who delivered speeches and presented grants during the event.

Alongside the inauguration ceremony, a fresher welcome event was held for the first cohort of medical students enrolled at the Chinland Jordan School of Medicine.

On April 14, the NUG delegation led by Dr Zaw Wai Soe also met with the Chinland Council, the Government of Chinland, and the Auditor General to discuss coordination mechanisms between the two administrations.

During the meeting, they also discussed the implementation status of the three pillars of the Chinland Council and the operational progress of the NUG.
